8th anniversary

For our 8th anniversary, we went down to the Hines mansion in Provo where we actually spent our wedding night. It was fun to reminisce as well as spend some romantic time alone. The historic bed and breakfast hasn't changed much over the years, and it was the first time in a long time we even got to watch a movie on VHS!

Sam's photo shoot

Sam got to be a big star in a professional photo shoot for a housing community down in Las Vegas. We drove down there and got to spend a little bit of time seeing the sights before his shoot. The whole time we were prepping him to be fun and outgoing for the camera, and telling him that he would have a "fake" family that he had to pretend to love. When the time came, he really turned on the charm, and really stole the show. As you can see from the picture on the site, all eyes were on Sam. He got along great with his "fake" sister as well as the rest of the "fake" family, but we were glad he came home with us :)
